Step 4: Prepare your documents
Academic transcripts and certificates, passport, photographs, English test scores (where required), a statement of purpose and reference letters are the usual core documents. Requirements differ by university, so follow a checklist.
Step 5: Submit applications
Apply well before deadlines — ideally 6–12 months before your intended intake. Track each application's status and respond promptly to university requests.

Budget for tuition plus living costs. Research merit scholarships and government programmes early, since deadlines are often months before the intake.
Step 7: Prepare your student visa
With an offer in hand, prepare financial evidence, medical and biometric steps, and any required interviews. Visa rules change, so work from current official guidance — ideally with a consultant.
Step 8: Prepare for departure
Arrange accommodation, book flights, pack sensibly, and learn the basics about your new city. Pre-departure preparation makes the first month far smoother.
